When installing the Magestore POS app, you need to subscribe to a pricing plan to start with POS. We now provide two plans, Lite and Standard. You can read more about the features of each plan here.

How to set up a Magestore POS plan

  1. Go to Shopify App Store → Find Magestore POS → Install

  2. Then you will be redirected to the Pricing Plans page of Magestore POS and select a plan that fits your business.

  1. Click on Try for Free to start 30-day Free Trial firstly. With Lite plan, you will be asked to select only one location to start. With Standard plan, you can currently manage all locations of your store.

After selecting locations, you need to process billing with PayPal. Your plan will start with 30 days of Free Trial first, then Paypal will deduct relating costs from your card.

How to upgrade/ downgrade POS plan

You can still change the plan even after you subscribe to another.

  1. Go to the Pricing Plans page → Select another plan to upgrade/ downgrade

  2. Then you need to confirm to save the change. Remember that if you downgrade from the Standard plan to the Lite plan, you will be asked to select only one location.

If you have paid a large cost for plan 1 (e.g.: Standard), then change the plan to Lite, you can even receive the credit for this paid cost. That is, PayPal can calculate the time remaining that you can use our app freely until your credit is used up.

How to edit the subscribed locations list

Once register one plan, you can still change/edit/remove the locations.

  • Changing location(s) will not cost you more. That means the number of locations will stay after changing.

  • Adding or Removing location(s) will lead to updating the monthly billing you need to pay. That is, after you add or remove them and click on Save, you will be redirected to the Preview Plans page and process the billing one more time.

Remember the disabled location will not be shown on your Magestore POS app, as well as its data (POS location, staff assigned to this location, …). This data is only reshown when you reenable that location!

How to cancel the POS plan

In case you want to stop using the Magestore POS plan, access the Pricing Plans page again and Cancel the plan. You can still reinstall and subscribe to the app after that.
