How to manage POS payment method

You have to decide which payment method can be used to record payment on POS in your store.

They can be Cash, Credit Card,… or any Custom Payment method you want (note that they are all non-integrated payment methods, which means that you will have to check the payment manually before recording it on POS)

How to manage the POS payment method

  1. Go to Magestore POS → Settings → Payment for POS

  1. There will be Cash and Credit card as the two default POS payment methods. You can also add a custom payment method by clicking on Add more payment button.

    Depends on the payment methods, you can define some configuration:

    1. Enabled status: Value = Yes will show this payment method on POS.

    2. Title: The title that this payment method will show

    3. Reference number: Define if the staff can fill in the reference number when recording payment or not (not show for Cash)

    4. Sort order: The payment method with the lower sort order will stay first on the Payment method list on POS.

    5. Pay later: Once the staff record the order with a payment method that allow to pay later, the staff can create order without recording any payment. (This config can be applied to custom payment method only)
