How to create and manage shipping carriers in Magestore Purchase Orders

By default, the app offers 4 popular shipping carriers

  • DHL

  • FedEx

  • UPS

  • USPS

You can add new shipping carriers to match your business in two ways

Way 1: Add shipping carriers on the Settings page

Go to Magestore Purchase Orders → Settings → Shipping carriers

Click on the Add new shipping carrier button, then a new line will appear. You can create multiple shipping carriers at the same time, just by clicking on this button

Carrier code

  • The unique value of differentiated shipping carriers in the app

  • Can be in any character, but do not add spaces between them

Carrier name

TRUE

  • The display name of the shipping carrier to add and show on each purchase order

  • Must be a unique value

    Can be in any character

Status

TRUE

  • The status of the shipping carrier can be Enabled or Disabled

  • By default will be enabled

  • The disabled shipping carriers will not be shown to add to the purchase order

After adding new carriers, click Save to update new data for your app.

Way 2: Add a new shipping carrier right on the Purchase order details page

When creating new Purchase orders, you can even create a new shipping carrier on this order.

Click on the Add new shipping carrier button in the Shipment details section. The popup of new carrier will be shown

Enter the Carrier code as well as the Carrier name here. The rules will be the same as adding new carriers on the Settings page.

When added successfully, this new shipping carrier will be automatically selected for this purchase order. You can still change carrier after that.

This new shipping carrier will be saved into the system. That means if you cancel this purchase order, the already created shipping carrier is still stored in the available carriers list of the app.
