How to View POS Z-Report

The X-Report and the Z-Report shows the same information, but the Z-Report ends the sales day and can be used for bookkeeping. If you’re running the Z-Report, it’s likely that you’ve already counted your cash drawers for the day and have entered those amounts into your POS.

Be sure you closed the session before check the Z-Report

  1. On POS Screen > Go to Session Management > Choose a closed session

  2. Click Z-Report button

In POS, they can view all sessions of current POS (created by them & other staff).

Net Amount

Display net amount in your session.

Cash difference

Display the different amount between real closing amount & theoretical closing amount.

Opening Balance

Display Opening Balance of session that inputted by Staff.

Closing Balance

Display Closing amount of session that inputted by Staff (real closing amount).

Theoretical
Closing
Balance

Display theoretical closing amount.
The formula is:
Theoretical Closing Balance = Opening Balance + Cash Sales + Pay Ins – Payouts – Cash Refund

Cash Difference

Display the different amount between real closing amount & theoretical closing amount.
The formula is:
Cash Difference = Real Closing Balance – Theoretical Closing Balance

Cash Sales

Display Cash Amount that cashier has received from customer except for Change Amount, including checkout process & take payment process.
Example: Customer give $200, then cashier get him $20 back. So, the cash sales will be $180.

Cash Refund

Display Cash Amount that cashier refunded to customer, in Refund process.

Pay Ins

Display the cash amount that cashier PUT IN cash drawer in his session.
Display as positive amount.

Pay Outs

Display the cash amount that cashiers TAKE OUT cash drawer in their session.
This is negative amount & will be displayed as : – {Amount}
Example : Payouts: – $50.00

Payment method name

List all payment method name & its value that is occurred in session, including:
– Checkout process
– Take payment process
– Refund process
Value of each payment method is calculated by the following formula:
Payment Method Amount = Sales Amount – Refund Amount

#SALES

 

Total amount

The amount is sum of amount of all payment method that you received in your session.

Refund amount

The amount is sum of amount of all payment method that you paid back to customer according to the Refund process in your session.

Net amount

Formula: Net Amount = [Total Amount] – [Refund Amount]
