How to Generate Giftcodes

In the case that the user want to generate mass Giftcodes with some similar patter (i.e. Giftcodes start with Xmas-xxx-xxx used for Christmas marketing Program), user can use Generate Giftcode functions.
First, the user go to Marketing → Generate Giftcodes
User clicks on Add Gift Code Pattern
User will fill in the information as following table:
Field | Description |
|---|---|
Pattern name | The name of this Pattern |
Gift Code Pattern | The pattern of the Giftcodes to generate |
Gift Code Value | The value will be assigned to the all the generated Giftcode (i.e. value = $100) |
Currency | The currency that will be applied to all generated Giftcodes. |
Expire on | Date Expire that will be applied to all generated Giftcodes. |
Storeview | The Store view that will be applied to all generated Giftcodes. |
Shopping Cart Conditions | The Shopping Cart conditions that will be applied to all generated Giftcodes. |
After that, user clicks on Save button. User can go to the Marketing → Giftcard → Manage Giftcodes to see the generated Giftcodes.
