How to delete or disable supplier profiles

1. How to delete a supplier profile

In Magestore Purchase Orders, you can only delete the supplier profile if you have not created any purchase order with that supplier.

In this case, there will be a Delete supplier button at the bottom of the Supplier details page. Click on that to process the deleting action.

Remember that the deleted supplier cannot be reverted into your app.

2. How to disable supplier profile

The supplier added to at least one purchase order in the app can only be changed mode between Inactive and Active. You cannot delete this profile since this will affect your current purchase orders.

To disable supplier:

  • Go to Manage suppliers → Supplier details → Click on the Status button at the top of the page

  • Switch the mode to Active / Inactive based on your demand.

There are some notes about disabling supplier profiles:

  1. The inactive supplier will not be shown in the available list of Suppliers when you create a new purchase order after that.

  2. The status of the supplier does not affect the functions on In-progress, Completed, or Closed POs. That means, you still receive inventory, create purchase invoices, edit PO, etc. even when its supplier is inactive.
