How to connect the cash drawer to the Star TSP100III printer (Mac)

To set up your printer to automatically open the cash drawer, please follow these steps:

1. Plug the RJ12 connector from your cash drawer to the printer

2. Travel to the URL: http://localhost:631/printers/, and there will be a page that names CUPS appears

3. Click on the Receipt_Printer hyperlink belonging to the Star TSP100 cutter to open the Receipt_Printer page

4. From the Administration dropdown, select “Set Default Options” to open the Set Printer Options page

5. Select the Cash Drawer Control button, then from the Cash Drawer dropdown, select the Open Drawer 1 and 2 option. After that, you only need to click on the Set Default Options button to complete the setup
