How to Set Up POS Synchronization Time

Products, stock levels, customers, orders are saved to POS device’s local storage so that the POS can work smoothly even without the internet connection. This article helps you configure the data synchronization period between your POS and server.

Step 1. On your Magento admin, go to POS Settings > Under the POS section, find Synchronization.

Step 2. Select synchronization period.

You can define the interval time of synchronizing ProductStockCustomerOrder; and Session data in the dropdown.

Sync order history since refers to the period of order creations.

  • Last 24 hours

  • Last 7 days

  • Current month: from the first day of the current month to the current date

  • YTD: the period of time beginning the first day of the current calendar year up to the current date. For example, if today is 18 Feb 2020, YTD will be from 1 Jan 2020 to 18 Feb 2020.

  • 2YTD: the period of time beginning the first day of the previous year up to the current date. For example, if today is 18 Feb 2020, YTD will be from 1 Jan 2019 to 18 Feb 2020.

Step 3. Click Save Config to apply your setting.

Step 4. Fresh (F5) your POS to apply new updates.
