How to create a new Branch Request
User start using Branch Request when they want to manage stock request from store to main warehouse or other stores, and perform delivering and receiving stock from original Source and receiving Source.
Branch Request Configuration
Go to Store > Configuration > Magestore > Stock Movement > Branch Request
There are some configurations admin can set up
Notifier Sender: Sender email for Branch Request email
Default Notifier email: Default email address will receive every Branch Request Emails, multiple emails can be separated by comma.
Branch Request Email Templates: Admin can setup your own Branch Request email template if needed.
Default Sending Source: Default source will be requested stock in every new Branch Request
Branch Request Process
Step 1: Create new Branch Request
User in Receiving Source will create a new Branch Request
Go to Inventory Management > Branch Request > Click Add Branch request button
Input General Information
Click Prepare Product List button
Add products to request by 3 ways: Scan barcode, add from list, import csv file
Edit Request Qty
Send Email to send Branch Request email to notifier and contact of Receiving Store (Setup in Source details)
Start Request to change Branch Request from Pending to Wait to approve.
After Start Request, user can download summary of Branch Request or click Edit Product button to change Branch Request from Wait to approve status to Pending Status to continue editing Request
Step 2: Approve BR
Manager in Sending Source will review and approve Branch Request based on Stock Availability of their Source.
Go to Inventory Management > Branch Request > Filter by Status Wait to Approve
View Branch Request > Review > Click Approve to move Branch Request from Wait to Approve to Approved status
If stock is not available for requesting, manager can Cancel the Branch Request
Step 3: Deliver Stock
Warehouse Staff in Sending Source will start Sending Stock
WH Staff access to Branch Request list > Filter BR by status Approved
Click Deliver button
Input information and Scan/ Select delivered Products, Edit Qty to Send then click Save Delivery
After Saving, system will create a transaction for delivery called Delivery Note
User can view details, print PDF, export CSV for Delivery Note in the Delivery History
Step 4: Receive Stock
Staff in Receiving Source will access to record receiving
WH Staff access to Branch Request list > Filter BR by status Processing
Click Receive button
Input information and Scan/ Select received Products, Edit Qty to Receive then click Save Receiving
After Saving, system will create a transaction for receiving called Receipt Note
User can view details, print PDF, export CSV for Receipt Note in the Receiving History
Step 5: Close Branch Request
After receiving all requested qty, the BR will be automatically closed
Or if user don’t want to receive items anymore, they can click Mark as Closed button to change BR from Processing to Completed status. After that the system will do not allow user deliver or receive Branch Request anymore.
Step 6: View Shortfall list
User can view the list of product haven’t been received fully in the Shortfall list section
