How Admin and Warehouse Managers Manage Dropship

In any case, retailers don’t want suppliers to check and process Dropship requests through the Magento website. Admin or Warehouse Managers can access the Dropship requests menu to view details and record shipment for Dropship Request.

Path: Fulfillment > Dropship section > Dropship Request

The Dropship Request page lets you manage the first and last step easily from the backend. To start the request process, select the Edit option in the list of orders. 

The Dropship Request Edit page consists of two sections: 

  • Information: This section has all the details including the supplier and quantity to be dropshipped. Select Create Shipment to record that supplier started delivering items to customer.

  • Shipment: After suppliers/admins created shipment for Dropship request, Magento shipments will be created and displayed in this section. You can select View to continue viewing details and send tracking number to customers.

A new window will show up with details about how the supplier is processing the dropship request. You can select Send Tracking Information to send an email to the customer so that they are notified about the shipment.
