How to Open a Session on POS

Please make sure your staff have the permissions mentioned in these article:

You can only open a new session when there’s no session currently running. Otherwise, check the current session and close it before opening your new one.

If a staff logs out from a POS without closing his current session, no other staff can log in and use that POS until the previous staff log in again and close his session.

  1. Log in your POS account

  2. After you’ve logged in successfully, a pop-up will automatically show up and require you to open a new session. In this pop-up, please set Opening Balance > click Open Session.

  3. Input cash values if you enable Cash Denomination.

For example: Denomination Value: 50, Number of Coins/Bills: 4, Subtotal: $200.00
