  • As a warehouse manager, I want to manage the product location to the shelf/bin/aisle so it saves time to find a product in the warehouse

6. Main flow

 

Create sources as self Bins & assign items to Bins (a SKU can be belong multi-sources/bins)

Sources/bins are linked to stock & stock is linked to website

  • Admin predefine Bin Locations in Sources.

Using Magento MSI to manage items by Bin

 

  • Admin import Bin Location of all products in Sources.

  • Admin/ Staff view/ update Bin Location of each item in Catalog Product in Backend.

  • Cashier/ Staff check Bin Location of product in POS Screen.

  • Cashier/ Staff go to the Bin Location in the Store to take items for customers.
